Bacary Sagna advices his team to start after big loss

Manchester City failed to win yet another Premier League match after managing only a 2-2 draw with relegation threatened to QPR at Loftus Road.

After this disappointing outcome, defender Bacary Sagna said that the team has to do well in order to start winning matches on a consistent basis. The reigning Premier League champions are in danger of losing their crown to Chelsea. They are already eight points behind the table leaders after having played just 11 matches. Sagna, who came to the club in the summer on a free transfer from Arsenal, says that the club should start scoring goals from across the pitch.

Sergio Aguero, who is the leading scorer in the league right now, scored both goals for the reigning champions. He has taken his tally for the campaign to 12 in the league alone. He has been, without doubt, one of the best players in the league this season. Sagna says that City should be more than just about Aguero and other players should also join in the scoring as well. Last season, one of the reasons for City lifting the title on the final day of the season was the sharing of goals with the likes of Edin Dzeko, Alvaro Negredo, and Yaya Touré contributing a fair share.

“We all need to rise up - we are all good players. There is a reason we play for City. We want to show everyone we can play for this team and succeed. We have plenty of games left and we want to keep our heads up.As long as Sergio scores, that is good, but we have a lot of good players who can do it. He is the one who changed the game. He scored twice - but we have many players who can do it.As long as he keeps pulling the team up, and we want to show we can raise our game and succeed," said Sagna.
