Manchester City could reportedly enter the race to sign PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe in 2023, with Liverpool also believed to be interested in the France international. According to Marca, the reigning Premier League champions are not afraid about the possibility of pairing the 23-year-old attacker with Erling Haaland following reports last week that Mbappe wanted to leave PSG in the January transfer window. The superstar attacker shocked the footballing world in the summer by signing a new contract to stay in Paris despite intense interest from Real Madrid. However, just a few months on from this announcement, Mbappe is seemingly keen to leave PSG in 2023.

As per the report, Madrid won’t entertain the idea of signing Mbappe in January, however, City could emerge as contenders for the attacker in 2023, with the Manchester giants having the financial capabilities to offer whatever the France international wants should he leave PSG. (more…)
