Kevin De Bruyne was praised by Manchester City manager

Belgian international Kevin De Bruyne was praised by Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini after once again helping the team get a crucial result.

Many questioned the £ 55 million transfer fee paid for the 24-year-old, but he is proving to be an intelligent piece of business.De Bruyne failed to shine at Chelsea but he appears to have matured with age. Last season saw the tremendous improvement with the player and he has been proving that it was not a one season wonder.De Bruyne has three goals in five league appearances while he opened his tally in the Champions League with a late winner against Sevilla.

He has also been contributing immensely in the form of assists. The impact has been so great that Raheem Sterling has been somewhat of a forgotten man in the last few weeks despite having cost £ 49 million. Pellegrini says that the 24-year-old is the perfect player for his team since he not only contributes in attack but also on the defence attribute as well.De Bruyne has been an all-rounder star and it remains to be seen if he can keep up these performances until the end of the campaign.De Bruyne has already made it to the FIFA Ballon d’Or shortlist along with the likes of Sergio Aguero.
