Bacary Sagna had good appearance for Arsenal Team

The French defender Bacary Sagna was able to make over 20 appearances for Arsenal since he joined the team of Arsene Wenger on July of 2007.

It’s believed that Arsenal had to pay Auxerre around €10 million in order to secure the services of the right-back but it turned out to be one of the best signings in the history of the Premier League club as Sagna went on to make more than 200 appearances for Arsenal during his 7 year long stay at the Emirates Stadium.

Bacary Sagna was a consistent and reliable defensive option for Arsenal as a player that could be utilized in the heart of the defence and not only as a right-back; there were no doubt that the money spent on signing Sagna did not go to waste.

Bacary Sagna advices his team to start after big loss

Manchester City failed to win yet another Premier League match after managing only a 2-2 draw with relegation threatened to QPR at Loftus Road.

After this disappointing outcome, defender Bacary Sagna said that the team has to do well in order to start winning matches on a consistent basis. The reigning Premier League champions are in danger of losing their crown to Chelsea. They are already eight points behind the table leaders after having played just 11 matches. Sagna, who came to the club in the summer on a free transfer from Arsenal, says that the club should start scoring goals from across the pitch.

Mirallas picks up another injury

Everton currently is the club in the Premier League that has conceded most goals having received a total of 14 goals so far, this is an evident sign of the lack of any solid defensive figures but now the squad of Roberto Martinez will be without the services of Kevin Mirallas.

Kevin Mirallas is a Belgium player who has played in all 6 Premier League matches of the season but picked up a hamstring injury when playing against Liverpool.

It still remains unsure as to exactly how long the Belgium attacker is going to be out injured unable to play but Roberto Martinez predicts that Mirallas could be out for a fairly long period of time.

Sagna Hits Back At Critics

Bacary Sagna has hit back at critics, especially Arsene Wenger, who have questioned his motive behind the mega money move to Manchester City. Sagna recently joined Manchester City on a three-year contract worth around £ 150,000 per week. He is believed to be one of the highest earning defenders in the Premier League after this new contract. City decided to offer the Frenchman such a huge contract despite the player having crossed 30 years of age. This is primarily because he was available on a free transfer after deciding to leave Arsenal following six years at the Emirates.

Spainish Fans Keep Heads High

The FIFA World Cup 2014 is something the fans of Spanish football would not like to keep in their head for a long time. It was horrible for them to say the least. It was not just a group round elimination for the defending champions, it was a humiliating elimination.

But, this is not the end of the world for the Spanish side. What happened in Brazil had to happen with them at some point of time. Almost the same group of players had been playing since the last 6-7 years and they had won almost everything that was there to be won. They just couldn’t have kept winning. They had to age at some point of time.

City closing in on Bacary Sagna and Fernando

Premier League champions Manchester City are hoping to finalize moves for FC Porto midfielder Fernando and Arsenal right back Bacary Sagna before the Frenchman takes the field for France at the World Cup in Brazil.

The Brazilian has not been included in Luiz Felipe Scolari’s side for the World Cup on home soil and City is thought to have agreed a fee worth in the region of £ 14 million with the Portuguese giants for the player. He is expected to be in Manchester later this week for his medical before any move can be formally announced.

Sagny Admits He Is Set to Leave Arsenal

Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna has admitted for the first time that he is set to leave the club at the end of the season. The defender is out of contract in a few weeks and talks for a new contract have reached a deadline. He is thought to be holding out for a two-year contract worth around £ 100,000 per week. Arsenal are believed to be not ready to match either of those requests. Hence, the 31-year-old could leave the club on a free transfer with the likes of Manchester city and Chelsea ready to pounce on him.

SAGNA WARNS PSG

Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna has said that the French club PSG need to be warned about the intimidating atmosphere that they will experience at Stamford Bridge for the second leg of the Champions League quarter-finals.

PSG managed a 3-1 win over the blues the first leg, but they would be unable to overcome the defying noise of the crowd within Stamford Bridge on the night according to Sagna. The Frenchman has been linked with a move to PSG in the summer, as he is out of contract at the end of the season.

SAGNA MOVING ON?

Bacary Sagna, who is widely expected to quit Arsenal at the end of the season, has praised Stoke City for the way they have changed their style of football in recent years.

The club had a reputation for playing long balls and having a physical approach to the games when they were managed by Tony Pulis. After several years under his management, the club finally decided to go in for the change. Former Manchester City and Blackburn Rovers manager Mark Hughes has been brought to the club in the summer.

Sagna Looks To Leave Arsenal

Bacary Sagna is looking destined to leave Arsenal at the end of the season as his contract expires after this year. Arsenal on the other hand is trying to offer him a new deal. Sagna reportedly has asked for a three year contract and a weekly fee of £100,000 which would make him one of the highest earning players in the squad.
