SAGNA REACTS TO LATEST ARSENAL WIN

Ex-Arsenal and Manchester City right-back Bacary Sagna has reacted to the latest Arsenal win in the Premier League.The Gunners are on their way to a revival in the Premier League after a tough last few months in the league. They have now won their last two games in the Premier League after a run of seven games without a win left them in the mix of a relegation battle.

The two successive victories have lifted Arsenal to 13th spot on the Premier League log. The good run started with an unexpected victory over Chelsea in the London Derby. Arsenal beat Chelsea 3-1 at home with goals from the likes of Alexandre Lacazette, Granit Xhaka and Bukayo Saka, while the consolation goal for the Blues was scored by Tammy Abraham.

The Gunners travelled to the Amex Stadium to face Brighton and Hove Albion with the target of building on the big win over Chelsea. In the end, they were able to meet their target with a slender 1-0 win over the Seagulls. Frenchman Alexandre Lacazette came off the bench to score the only goal of the game to take his tally to five Premier League goals and seven goals in all competitions. After the game, BacarySagna took to his Twitter account to react to the slender victory as he pointed out the importance of confidence in football. BacarySagna noted the important of being self confident in football before adding that it looks like the Gunners are slowly coming back to their best after a wretched run over the last two months. The two wins over Chelsea and Brighton have moved Arsenal to withintouching distance of the top half. The Gunners are three points off fellow London club West Ham United who occupy the last spot in the top half.
