The wife of Bacary Sagna keen to stay put in London
Arsenal full back Bacary Sagna is yet to sign a new deal that will see him commit his future to the cause of the club but according to ftbllr soccer blog, his wife would prefer to stay put in London if she could be in charge of things and not move to another city, be it Paris or Milan. Over the last few months, the French international has been linked with moves away from the Emirates Stadium with the likes of Inter Milan, Paris Saint Germain and even AS Monaco keen on the player.
The 30 year old has also talked up the prospect of making a move back home with either Paris Saint Germain or even Marseille in recent weeks. However, he has also mentioned that he has a contract offer from Arsenal on the table as well and will only decide on his future after he returns to London from his holidays. New Inter Milan manager Walter Mazzari has also talked up the prospect of bringing the Frenchman to the club to his aides but the club has almost ruled out a bid for the player, citing the value of Bacary Sagna is too much for them to afford.
However, Ludivine Sagna recently spoke to a French magazine where he stated if she has to choose, London would be her choice. She mentioned that as a city, she would always prefer to stay in London. She went on to admit that being in Paris would mean staying near her family and that there would be good things everywhere but she would still prefer London.
Bacary Sagna made the move to Arsenal in 2007 after spending three seasons at Auxerre but he has also been said to be keen on achieving title success which he has so far failed to achieve at the North London side.
