Sagna Looks To Leave Arsenal

Bacary Sagna is looking destined to leave Arsenal at the end of the season as his contract expires after this year. Arsenal on the other hand is trying to offer him a new deal. Sagna reportedly has asked for a three year contract and a weekly fee of £100,000 which would make him one of the highest earning players in the squad.

Considering the recent form he is in and the likes of Manchester City and Paris St. Germain already showing interest in the Arsenal right back the Gunners would definitely want him to spend another year with them. Arsene Wenger who is aware of the situation says that he has been an important player for them in the last couple of years and although he has not yet offered a new deal he is surely thinking about it. Sagna who turned 31 this Friday insisted that he would leave Arsenal at the end of the season along with Lukas Fabianski.

Wenger also said that the process to make him sign a new deal is in progress and there are lots of things to be considered before they offer him a new deal. Since he is 31 now Arsenal would not be offering a deal of more than one year which is why the right back is so determined to leave Arsenal after this season.

Along with him Fabianski would also look to exit the club after his disappointing role in the club for the last seven years when he hardly started matches. In this season he has only started 4 matches with which he is not satisfied at all and he has also refused a new contract which was offered to him recently. Bacary Sagna has been the choice of many teams who will be bidding for him in the summer transfer window.
