Aston Villa is ready to sack Remi Garde with the Frenchman unwilling to leave on his own.

Aston Villa will have to pay around £2million if they want to severe the ties with the French manager. Garde has been at the club for only 5 months following the departure of the former manager Tim Sherwood.

Garde was brought in a 3-year deal with the objective being to keep Aston Villa in the Premier League. The Frenchman has managed only 2 wins in the last 20 league games. Defeat last Saturday against Swansea has in most likelihood condemned Aston Villa to relegation. The team is currently 12 points from the safety spot with only 7 games remaining in the current season.

A lot of people might not be giving City too much of a chance for becoming the Premier League title holders again this season considering how they are poised in the standings right now but, despite that, Bacary Sagna has not given up the hope.

According to Sagna, the chances are still there and the whole City squad knows that. There is desperation in the camp to try and turn the corner.

Many questioned the £ 55 million transfer fee paid for the 24-year-old, but he is proving to be an intelligent piece of business.De Bruyne failed to shine at Chelsea but he appears to have matured with age. Last season saw the tremendous improvement with the player and he has been proving that it was not a one season wonder.De Bruyne has three goals in five league appearances while he opened his tally in the Champions League with a late winner against Sevilla.

Manchester City managed a rout of Chelsea in the recent league meeting between the two teams.

The success achieved over the reigning Premier League is a sign of the supreme power within City, who managed to win the game 3-0. They go into the upcoming game against Everton at Goodison Park as the overwhelming favourites despite having seen Roberto Martinez’ team make a good start to the campaign. After a disappointing opening day draw against Watford, Everton went on to claim their first win of the season in emphatic manner after beating Southampton 3-0.

Manchester City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak says that the club will not be sacking manager Manuel Pellegrini despite widespread reports of the same.

The Chilean failed to win any major trophy in his second season at the club. This was after he had lifted the League Cup and the Premier League after coming into the English football for the first time. Even though City failed to win any major honour, the way in which is succumbed in every competition was also very disappointing. Even though Pellegrini has some of the top players like Bacary Sagna at his disposal, he was unable to get the best out of them.

Bacary Sagna does not seem to be enjoying the fact that he is being used in bits and pieces by Manchester City.

Sagna, who made his way to Etihad Stadium the previous summer, has got to play 6 games only in the top tier and most of them have been short appearances.

Sagna believes he is good enough to be getting more opportunities.

It has been learnt from the sources that Sagna is starting to contemplate his exit already.

Roma is believed to be one of the clubs which might be interested in Sagna if he is made available by the Sky Blues the coming summer.

However, Sagna’s age would be a big hindrance in him getting a long contract at Roma.

He is 32 and at best, he would be signed for a couple of years.

The French defender Bacary Sagna was able to make over 20 appearances for Arsenal since he joined the team of Arsene Wenger on July of 2007.

It’s believed that Arsenal had to pay Auxerre around €10 million in order to secure the services of the right-back but it turned out to be one of the best signings in the history of the Premier League club as Sagna went on to make more than 200 appearances for Arsenal during his 7 year long stay at the Emirates Stadium.

Bacary Sagna was a consistent and reliable defensive option for Arsenal as a player that could be utilized in the heart of the defence and not only as a right-back; there were no doubt that the money spent on signing Sagna did not go to waste.
